The
United State Postal Service contracted with Solutions Engineering
to provide an Inventory Tracking System which would provide
tracking of all training materials and their history of use
by item and by user. The
system also provides numerous built in reports allowing the
“Learning for Life” centers to provide demand level, use level
reports, “inventory out” status reports, and a set of related
reports. The system
was constructed very quickly for the USPS by modifying an existing
application written by Solutions Engineering.
The system is written entirely in C, running on RAIMA
Data Manager (embedded, run-time database).
